PARTICIPATE IN EXPERIMENTS
We run experiments that help us understand how languages work and how speech is produced and perceived.
Our research uses a wide range of experimental techniques. Some examples of tasks we ask participants to do are: reading, listening, speaking with audio recording, speaking with video recording, speaking with sensors attached to speech organs, etc. Depending on their type, experiments differ in terms of duration (ranging from 15 minutes to 4 hours), location (e.g., online or at the lab) and form of compensation (i.e., money, gift cards, course credit).

Once you sign up, researchers will be able contact you for any studies that you are qualified to participate in, and you can then decide whether to participate or not. Many studies provide some financial compensation (cash, gift cards)! You will also have the chance every year to opt-in or opt-out for further participation, and you can remove your name from the list at any time.
